Jake’s life was rough from the start. He was born into the meat industry, and his nervous first time mother abandoned him when he was born. We brought him in and raised him with a bottle. Around this time we brought another abandoned lamb into our care, Rosie. After Rosie had been abandoned she suffered a devastating loss, her sickly twin brother passed, but with every down there is an up. We raised the two together and Rosie seemed to start looking to Jake as a brother, he seemed to remind her of the one she lost, and Jake happily took on the brother role. Even to this day, about eight years later, the “siblings” are still never far from each others sides.
