Orangy and his brother Galaxy are two wonderful and spunky members of our crew. They were born on a farm in Franktown to a wonderful mouser. We adopted them in 2019 and named them Nebula and Galaxy (we thought Orangy was female) , but placed them in another home for a while when we went on a vacation. While there, they were renamed to Pepper and Ginger and they aquired a new friend- Nutmeg! When their new home could no longer hold them, we welcomed Pepper, Ginger, and Nutmeg to our home. We switched Pepper’s name back to Galaxy, and for some reason Orangy stuck to Ginger. We kept Nutmeg’s name the same. Now the brothers are still very close and snuggle almost daily. Orangy often visits Nutmeg (who due to her troublesome personality and inability to get along with the other cats) now lives in a bedroom so she can have her own little “queendom”. Galaxy occasionaly visits Nutmeg, although he doesn’t get along with her quite as well as Orangy anymore.
