Pavlova and her twin sister Turtle are the offspring of Richard and Caramel. Pavlova is the first born of the two, and did not have an easy entrance into the world!

We went into the barn on the night of May the 14th. We had been expecting Caramel to have a baby and she was two days passed her due date. When we went into the barn, we saw that the kid ‘s head was stuck. We showed up at the perfect time- if not, we could have lost her. She only needed a little pull thankfully, and she was out. We were just recovering from that scary episode when we realized she was having another baby! Thankfully kid #2 (Turtle) didn’t need any help. She had quite an easy entrance into the world, unlike poor Pavlova who we think had probably been stuck for an hour or so before we arrived.

Now Pavlova is the “Good girl” of the twins. Even though they both are of course very good, Pavlova certainly gets in much less trouble and has a more quiet demeanor than Turtle. We thought that the one that was the most trouble coming out would be the difficult one for life, but no!
